Loews Royal Pacific Resort

Patio outside of the Lobbby

So far Loews Royal Pacific Resort is my favorite on the Universal property. It just feels laid back and relaxing. The property is surrounded by lush gardens and peaceful water features. The Lobby is spacious and inviting with plenty of places to sit and enjoy a drink from the bar or a coffee from Starbucks. And right now the resort is tastefully decorated for Christmas. The resort is impeccably cleaned and smells delightful.

The rooms are nicely appointed if not fairly basic. We stayed in a double room on the 7th floor facing the front entrance. The shower was walk in with a small ledge to make shaving easier. This is a plus in my book. The beds were comfy and we had plenty of room for 4 adults with 3 suitcases.

We did not use the pool during this trip but it was large with a zero entry entrance. There is a splash pass for kids and plenty of sitting around the pool.

One of the best parts of the resort is it’s location and transportation. It is the resort located closest to Islands of Adventure and is a short 10 to 15 minute walk from the park entrance. But the boats are the best. They run every 15 minutes, but I don’t think we waited over 5 minutes and the short but pleasant trip puts you in the middle of CityWalk . There are buses as well to take you to Volcano Bay and in the future, Epic Universe. Universal’s newest theme park opening in May of 2025.

Being one of Universal Orlando’s premiere resorts we also received Express Pass Unlimited for each person, each day of our stay, starting on the day of check-in through our check-out day. This means we could walk on to almost any ride with a wave of our room keys.

If you are considering a stay at Universal Orlando Loews Royal Pacific is my personal recommendation.
