In the past two years we have stayed at two Canopy by Hilton properties the Boston Downtown and the London City locations. And let me tell you we have enjoyed our stays at both.
Both properties look like smaller boutique hotels. The decor in the London City location shown here was more modern and the Boston location more traditional but both feel very welcoming when you walk in. The Boston location even boasted a fireplace in the lobby.
The rooms are comfortable and clean with the usual amenities: mini fridge, coffee maker, iron, and hairdryer. The beds are comfy with big fluffy pillows. The bedrooms in both locations have an open wardrobe instead of a closet. But there is plenty of room to store your suitcases out of the way.

Both hotel bathrooms offered sliding barn doors for the bathroom and walk in shower stalls with waterfall shower heads. I loved the oversized towels, they are huge! Hot showers at the end of a busy day sight seeing were very nice.
The hotels also have that Disney smell! If you’ve stayed at any of the Walt Disney World Resorts then you know what I mean. I enjoyed walking into the fresh lobby after a long day of being a tourist.

Both locations had bars and restaurants with nice views. London City has a roof top bar with panoramic windows. You can enjoy drinks and small plates inside or out on the patio.
But the best thing in my experience has been their locations. Both were near train stations or within walking distance of attractions worth visiting.
Canopy is a relatively small branch of the Hilton family with only 43 hotels in 13 countries, but there are another 42 in development. If you get the chance to stay at a Canopy by Hilton, do it. You will be in the middle of all the action, with a smaller boutique feel, and excellent service. Worth a try!
