Best Theme Park Food?

Universal Studios’ Mythos Restaurant has a banner hanging over the door claiming to voted the “best theme park dining”. So of course I had to check it out. I’ve actually dined at this location twice. Once for lunch and once for dinner. The outside theming is great and we were able to walk up and get a table on both occasions and be seated within 20 minutes.

Shrimp Meze

For lunch I ordered the Shrimp Meze. It was tasty and the perfect serving size for lunch during the oppressively hot summers.

On my second trip I ordered the Fork, Knife, and Spoon Grilled Cheese. This too was quite good. An upscale version of a classic grilled cheese sandwich with tomato soup. The crispy pork belly is a perfect addition

I also enjoyed a classic margarita with dinner. Which was large and quite good! We also shared an order of calamari. Pretty standard. Smaller portion than I was expecting and a little chewy but we finished the plate.

Overall I don’t really have anything to complain about. The prices are not awful and the service both times was good. The food is tasty but I’m not sure I would say best theme park food. It is certainly worth a visit, I just wouldn’t set your expectations to high.
