This past weekend I took a girl’s trip to Universal Studios Orlando. My marvelous Mom treated us to a night at The Hard Rock Hotel. A premiere resort, the Hard Rock Hotel is the closest to Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure making getting into all the action extremely easy. You can easily walk to each of the parks or take a convenient boat to CityWalk.

This beautiful hotel has comfortable rooms and the amenities you come to expect from a resort including Starbucks sold on sight! We had plenty of room for the four of us, with lots a plugs and USB ports available throughout the room. There are artist portraits and music memorabilia located all around the hotel. I sure you wouldn’t have expected anything less. There are also acoustic centers located around the resort. They are marked by a large circle in the tile floor. If you stand in the center of each one and say something you will hear different acoustics.

We only stayed one night so we didn’t get a chance to check out the pool personally but it is huge. I hear they also play music under the water so I definitely want to check that out eventually.

The best part of this resort was the Unlimited Express passes good for your entire stay, including your check-in and check-out days. Simply go to the front desk and pre-check in starting at 7:00am. You’ll get your Unlimited Express Pass which will later act as your room key once your room is ready. We were able to experience so much more with the help of these passes.

Parking was full so we ended up having to valet. Every team member was friendly and helpful. We were able to easily check our bags both before check-in and after check-out.
