Dreams that Soar!

There are only a few days left to catch Disney’s drone show, Dreams that Soar at Disney Springs. Each night you can catch one of two shows at 9:00 pm or 10:45pm. September 2nd is the final date posted on Disney’s website.

Star Wars Death Star in Dreams that Soar drone show.

I for one hope there is only a brief lapse and that the shows will continue or perhaps offer seasonal drone shows. The technology for the 800 drones used during the show provides endless possibilities. And having another nighttime show offering for families is great. It makes Disney Springs an even more inviting location for dinner out.

The show itself is great! The lights are dimmed and music is blasted all around as the drones fly into formations of beloved Disney classics as well as modern cult favorites. There is something for everyone.

There are some drawbacks. The Dreams That Soar webpage recommends arriving/parking an hour before the show. There is plenty to do while you are waiting of course but you need to plan accordingly. The 9:00 show is crowded! I would think the second show would be better but that’s past my bed time! 😆 Especially when we plan on rope dropping the next morning. So I have not tested out the later show to see if there is any noted difference in crowd size.

Peter Pan!

The entrance to the viewing area is behind the House of Blues and runs along the water. I’ve seen people comment that they watched the show from the top floor of the parking garage and the view from Saratoga Spring would be great too if you wanted to avoid some of the crowds. Having a late dinner at the House of Blues, Jaleo, or Summer House on the Lake may be the perfect answer as they have patios where the show may be viewed from.

Seriously, check it out! It is worth it!
