Last year, my daughter, daughter in law, mother, and sister had a girls trip to attend Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party for the first time. We loved it SO much. If you are on the fence do it.
We had a blast picking out, planning, and getting ready for the night. My daughter found a Mad Hatter hat she really like so we all decided on Alice in Wonderland. There were plenty of resources online. We all pieced out costumes together I bought both the skirt and purple overalls shorts but settled on the skirt. It was hot but none of us were miserable.

We stayed at Disney’s All-Star Music in the family suite. It was perfect for us. We had 2 full bathrooms with plenty of room for all of us and our stuff. We stayed 2 nights. The night before our party we went to Disney Springs for dinner and shopping and then relaxed at the resort pool until time to get ready.
I am an annual pass holder and have found it difficult to buy a separate ticketed event but I’m glad we did. We didn’t care about trick or treating and were not planning on visiting characters. I ended up buying Disney’s PhotoPass during the party because there were so many cute photo opportunities to take advantage of. The Magic Kingdom is all decked out for fall and there were special Magic Moment photos.

The characters dressed up in their costumes is so cute! The show and parade were great. Make sure you get to the parade route about 15 minutes before hand, you do not want to miss the headless horseman.
This was a great trip that we all enjoyed. Everyone was nice and excited to see everyone all dressed up. I highly recommend MNSSHP! I am even considering one of the Christmas parties this year to see if it measures up!
